Completed project/s
Transforming Being, Belonging, and Becoming Needs through the Occupational Wholeness Model; a community based project
The growing population of older immigrants faces complex challenges in achieving well-being and social integration. In response to this, a pilot study was conducted using the Occupational Wholeness Model (OWM) to explore how structured group activities could support adaptation and promote mental well-being within this community.
The participants were senior Iranian immigrants living in Sweden. The intervention consisted of group-based sessions incorporating creative activities such as crafts and storytelling, all structured around the principles of the MOW.
